Hi Cross of Glory!
I pray that you are well. As always, please let us know how you are and consider being with us after worship on Sundays for our Power Hour at 11:30 to share prayer requests. Though I have posed the question several times now, I am still wondering if anyone else from our congregation would like be part of our Cross of Glory Prayer Chain. Several have responded but perhaps YOU have not. Consider being in the loop all the more at church and dedicated to the privilege and the promise, the power of prayer.
I do apologize that as of late my messages to you have been lengthy. There is so much we are trying to do to encourage greater participation at church. I hope that you take the time to look at these emails carefully. I am hoping for instance that all you know that we have Lenten NOON worship at church… the last of 5 to be held this Wednesday.

Cross of Glory Charter member Barbara Palmer’s funeral will be at 1 PM this Tuesday, March 28th at Atonement Lutheran Church.2. Most likely, Bob Carlson’s funeral will be at Cross of Glory this summer in conjunction with a Ft. Logan burial (our military cemetery in Denver).3. Bonnie Franks’ funeral will be at 11 AM on Saturday, April 1st. A sandwich tray reception is planned in our Fellowship Hall after the service. Set up/Clean up helpers?4. Maundy Thursday worship will be at Prince of Peace at noon on Thursday, April 6th (to accommodate their musicians). Good Friday worship will be at noon the next day, at Cross of Glory Friday, April 7 in our continued resolve to get night-challenged people to church and to involve our Cook Park community.5. Easter is celebrated at Cross of Glory on Sunday, April 9th at 7:30 AM (outdoors to be seen by the community if the weather permits) AND at 10 AM. We will have our Easter Breakfast in-between worship beginning at 8:30 AM. The neighborhood is invited. Pass the word to possible newcomers to our church. Look for the sign-up sheet at church to share a breakfast something that morning. Coordinate with Craig Pizinski any other helps you may be.6. I was SO pleased to see the excellent attendance at our Adult Sunday School last week. There is always room for YOU! Remember the assignment? All of you were to learn a little something about Pentecostals, Holy Rollers and Snake-Charmer worship!!!7. And lastly… our recent questions… Who are the 2 Cross of Glory people you will commit to being an “encourager” to? Do you have some middle-schoolers who will be joining us for Confirmation? Do you know of an affordable “retreat ” place for our Church Council to do some work?Thank you once again for your patience.
