SAME CAFÉ
SAME (So All May Eat) Café opened its doors in 2006 as the first nonprofit restaurant in Denver and has continued strong for over 17 years!
Everyone who comes through the door of SAME Café Denver is treated exactly the same. Everyone participates in exchange for their meal! Guests order from the healthy menu of mostly local, organic food and then choose to participate in the community in exchange for the meal by volunteering time, giving produce, or donating money.
SAME Café Denver has no set prices and no set menus. Daily selections are made using fresh, organic ingredients and are funded by donations of time, produce, and money from guests and supporters. Their philosophy is that everyone, regardless of economic status, deserves the chance to eat healthy food while being treated with dignity.
It is the intent of SAME Café Denver to build community by providing a delicious and healthy meal in a dignified manner to anyone who walks through the door.
The restaurant, located at 2023 East Colfax Avenue, serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM.  SAME Café is open to the public.

February Item of the Month
SOUP, SOUP-SOUPER BOWL SOUP
 
Last year, Pastor Mike set a goal to collect 10,000 cans of soup for Metro Caring for the Super Bowl. We tried, but we did not meet that goal. We were short by a few thousand!!
So in January, we began collecting and donating cans of soup for two months, January AND February, in hopes of reaching our goal of 10,000 cans. We are on our way.  Thank you for providing soup in January – now February!  We can do it!  We have already delivered 96 pounds of soup to Metro Caring! Start filling our Big Orange Box (BOB) with all the cans of soup you ‘can.’  A SUGGESTION – for those who are attending worship at Cross of Glory or stopping by, make it a priority to bring a can(s) of soup with you – with your Bibles, of course!!
