LENT
Lent is a 40 day reminder of Christ’s 40 days in the wilderness, and His defeat of temptation. We are reminded that Jesus was also tempted and that He stood firm against Satan’s temptations. It is a time of preparation and an opportunity for us to go deeper with God and a time for personal reflection that prepares our hearts and minds for Good Friday and Easter.
THIRD SUNDAY IN LENT
POWER HOUR PRAYER MINISTRY
We are encouraged to pray. God knows our needs, our joys even before we approach heaven’s throne of grace. God wants us to pray because WE WILL BE THE BETTER FOR IT!
After worship each Sunday, beginning at 11:30 AM, we invite you to return to our sanctuary for 30 minutes of concentrated prayer. Joining other friends from church, we pray for ourselves, for others, for all. Be better! Enhance your friendship with God… and with one another!

Our Tuesday 6:30 PM Zoom Bible Study will be held on March 5 as we continue studying a comparison/contrast look at the Gospels, common stories and greater insights (we pray) into Jesus.

Lent began on Ash Wednesday, February 14. As in past years, we will be hosting alternate Wednesday 4:00 PM Worship Services with Prince of Peace. A 4:00 PM Lenten Worship Service was held on Wednesday, February 28, at Prince of Peace with our friends. Please plan to be with us at Cross of Glory, on Wednesday, March 6, at 4:00 PM for our next Lenten Service. Worship Assistants (greeters and ushers) will be needed. Please indicate your willingness to help on the sign up sheet that will be distributed Sunday. THANK YOU!
