When you leave for Cross of Glory, do you have a pet “begging” to come with you? Thanks to St. Francis, the patron saint of animals,  liturgical churches have long observed “Blessing of the Pets” worship services either on the first or second Sundays of October (close to St. Francis’ birthday).

Cross of Glory will be hosting a Blessing of the Animals Celebration Service on Sunday, October 8, at 10:00 AM with our pets as we give thanks to all God’s creatures and our pets!  Besides providing companionship, their love and loyalty are constant. Please pass the word to your neighbors and their creepy-crawling, flying, swimming, four legged (or eight-legged) housemates! Fido will wag his tail at you if you do!  “Treats” are accepted!
