With the Super Bowl the first Sunday in February, and Cross of Glory in turn hosting soup drives in past years to help hungry folks in Denver, we are once again hoping that you will be SOUPer and start bringing in cans of soup to Cross of Glory this month.  All the soup will be given to MetroCaring in downtown Denver. MetroCaring serves more daily meals to those in need than any other charitable organization in our city.

Yes, it is gimmicky, but let us hope it works: We want you CHIEFly to be bringing in diverse cans of soup! Our goal is 49 DIVERSE cans of soup, approximating, of course, the 49ers and the number of years Kansas City has NOT appeared in the Super Bowl! Ultimately, our goal is to be bringing in 605 cans of soup during the month of February, the distance between Denver and Kansas City.  If you would rather not be lugging in dozens of soup cans, we would gladly receive from you a check marked “SOUP.” With your financial help (marked “SOUP”), we will buy cans of soup on your behalf!
