OUR OUTREACH FOCUS FOR FEBRUARY IS THE DELORES PROJECT. Each year, this organization serves approximately 450 individuals, providing 20,000 nights of shelter to unaccompanied women and transgender individuals aged 18 or older.  The Delores Project has several major programs, one of which is their Emergency Shelter.  This is not a domestic violence shelter.  Through a lottery system, dorm-style beds are available for homeless individuals for a one-week stay.  Guests must meet certain intake requirements, perform a daily chore and meet curfew hours. A list of Current In-Kind Need (New Items Only) can be obtained from our ushers.

METRO CARING FEBRUARY FOOD FOCUS: The Outreach Committee has designated SOUP, SOUP, SOUP for those less fortunate. Place your food donations in the boxes located in the narthex marked “Metro Caring.” A Big Orange Box, located outside, can be used for donations of any kind – anytime.
