Lent Begins on Ash Wednesday, February 26
As in past years, Cross of Glory will once again observe Ash Wednesday (February 26th), consequent Wednesdays of Lent and Holy Week worship with our friends from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, flip-flopping between churches from week to week. Prince of Peace is located at 2400 South Colorado Boulevard, about a quarter of a mile south of I-25 on the east side of Colorado Boulevard. The beloved Holden Evening Prayer liturgy will once again be used.
For the theme this year, we will be using the Augsburg Confession, a foundation of our Lutheran understandings, as the basis for our messages. Though we cannot cover all of the articles in the Confession, we have chosen some that we think are interesting matters for our walk of Christian faith.

At Cross of Glory, we will be hosting our Sanctuary Prayer Vigil on Saturday, April 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Easter Sunday is April 12.
• On that glorious morning, We will have a 7:30 AM Sunrise Worship Service AND our traditional 10:00 AM Sunday Morning Service.
• Our Cross of Glory Easter Breakfast will be served from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
• Our Easter Egg Hunt for Kids will begin at 9:15 AM.
