TUESDAY NIGHT: BIBLE STUDY
Through the end of February, we will continue on Tuesday evenings at 6:15 PM with the help of our ZOOM technology to study “The Parables of Jesus.” Steve Wilson, our new Education Chairperson at Cross of Glory, is doing a phenomenal job leading the study. We are having good participation each Tuesday night with typically at least a dozen of Zoom onlookers.
No experience is necessary! Do not be hesitant to join our group because of misgivings you may have about familiarity with the Scriptures. All of us have insights that can be shared, regardless of our Bible proficiency, which would help the entire group. And you know your friends at church! Patient! Welcoming! Encouraging!
So how about it? Be looking for the link that Pastor Mike will send you regarding Tuesday evening Bible study. Plan on signing in a little earlier than the 6:15 beginning time. See you this next Tuesday?
WOMEN’S FAITH CLUB: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 27
These past months have been interesting. Cross of Glory has a perfect opportunity for you to regroup with friends by meeting at the church on February 27, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon!
The ladies are continuing to read the book, Women of the Bible that has interesting topics for discussion. Make this last Saturday of each month meeting a priority. You will be glad you did!
HYMN SING SUNDAY: FEBRUARY 28
During the summer on the last Sunday of those months, YOU have had the opportunity to select the hymns we sing. We are revising that tradition to include EVERY last Sunday of the month until then to include ONE hymn YOU will select! The other two hymns will focus on the scripture lessons. Please submit your favorites to Mary Lemke at lemkemj@comcast.net.
CROSS OF GLORY BOOK CLUB
If you enjoy being with friends, reading and discussing books, please consider joining our Cross of Glory Book Club. We meet nearly every month. In January, we finished reading our tenth book.
On Saturday, March 6 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, we look forward to meeting together at Cross of Glory as we read the book, The Story Keeper by Lisa Wingate. The book can be ordered through Amazon or check out the library, bookstores, etc.
