OUR January OUTREACH FOCUS
PARKINSON ASSOCIATION OF THE ROCKIES

Parkinson Association of the Rockies is:
* A  unique  organization in the  Rocky Mountain region,  dedicated to providing innovative programs
and  resources  to  those  living  with  Parkinson’s disease,  their  Care  Partners  and  the  broader
   community.
* Continually expanding programs and services to further reach underserved Parkinson’s populations.

Since its formation in 1981, Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies has been a valuable resource to the Colorado community, providing direct care services including support groups, exercise classes, free access to a social worker and an information hotline to individuals living with Parkinson’s, their families and Care Partners, as well as the general community. We have expanded our services into Wyoming. Through our tangible and innovative resources, Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies provides the care that counts on the way to a cure.
Metro Caring’s
January Item of the Month
SOUPER BOWL SOUP

We like football and especially look forward to the Super Bowl Game being played in February with the hopes that our Denver Broncos would be playing in that game. Providing incentives for the Broncos and showing our support for Metro Caring, we will try again by collecting and donating cans of soup for 2 months, January AND February, in hopes of reaching our goal, set by Pastor Mike of 10,000 cans of soup.  We can do it!  Start filling our box in our sanctuary and ourBig Orange Box (BOB) by the front door with all the cans of soup you “can.”
Thank you all for supporting this very worthwhile organization. There are so many people in our community that struggle with hunger every day. Metro Caring helps families break this cycle.
