Well it is that time of year again, our annual Cross of Glory/Cook Park Neighborhood Association Yard Sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. There is a lot of work that will need to take place prior to that day, namely your generous involvement in gathering up all of your items, and pricing them before delivering to the Church no sooner than June 9. We hope to have boxes on hand for you to use from our June 1 Shred-a-Thon. We will also need volunteers for the following areas:
- Putting up the tents
- Moving tables and items out to the lawn
- Customer Service
- Cashiers
- Possible hot dog grillers
- Labeling our water bottles
- Meeting and greeting the neighbors
- Cleaning up after the event
Some of the areas can be labor intensive and we would hope that some of the ‘muscle’ in the church will be able to help. We would so appreciate any and all participation! It would also be helpful to let your friends and neighbors know about the sale and if they too would have any donations.
