This information is for anyone who helps prepare communion for Cross of Glory on Sundays. This information is also for anyone who wants to help prepare communion in the future. On the last Sunday of the month whoever prepared communion that day and cleans up usually prepares the communion tray for the following Sunday. We want to empty whatever is left in the communion tray and throw it all out and prepare a new communion tray for the following Sunday with fresh wine and apple juice. Our reason for following this new procedure is there is wine and apple juice left in the communion tray and we frequently just leave what’s left and fill in the remaining tray with new wine and apple juice. We want to make sure at least once a month all of the communion tray is replaced with fresh wine and apple juice.
