Our Third Sunday of the Month Birthday Celebration continues! Each month we recognize individuals born during that month. On Sunday, August 15, at our Cross of Glory 10:00 AM Sanctuary and ZOOM Worship Service, ALL of YOU born in August will have the opportunity to celebrate your birthday, regardless of your actual August birthdate! We are aware of some of these August birthday celebrants. However, IF we do not know who you are, PLEASE be with us and let us know. We want to wish you a Happy Birthday too.
BRING A FRIEND TO CHURCH SUNDAY – AUGUST 29
Our Fifth Sunday of the Month Bring a Friend to Church Sunday continues! We are encouraged to invite ALL of our friends to Cross of Glory EVERY Sunday, however, more emphasis will be made to invite others to worship on Sunday, August 29, the fifth Sunday in August! Now you have two choices as to how to invite ALL your friends to worship with you. You can worship in our Cross of Glory sanctuary, or you can share our ZOOM link information with them. Using their laptops, computers, and/or phones, they can worship in their homes with us! They will thank you! We have special ministry opportunities to share.
HYMN SING SUNDAY – AUGUST 29
Our Summer Last Sunday of the Month Hymn Sing Sunday continues! During May, June, July – and now August, we have concentrated on recalling and singing hymns that are special to us. You have one more Sunday this summer to select your chosen “winners” to be sung on Sunday, August 29. Begin thinking and submitting them soon to Mary Lemke!
JOIN OUR BOOK CLUB – SUNDAY, AUGUST 22
PLEASE NOTE: Our Book Club participants will be meeting at Cross of Glory on Sunday, August 22 following our 10:00 AM Worship Service. The group is presently discussing novellas or books taken from “The Sons of Encouragement” by Francine Rivers – “Five Stories of Faithful Men Who Changed Eternity.”

WOMEN’S FAITH BREAKFAST
On Saturday, August 28, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, our Women’s Faith Breakfast participants will be meeting at Cross of Glory.
Taken from the book, Women of the Bible, by Ann Spangler and Jean E. Syswerda, the ladies will be learning about Tamar, the daughter of King David. Copies of the study are available at Cross of Glory. Newcomers are invited to join them and be part of the lively discussion and fellowship. Each person is asked to bring her own food and/or beverage to the discussion.
