Just a reminder that our service Sunday October 21st will be shortened so that anyone who wants to attend the 40th anniversary party for our friends across the parking lot, the Korean Baptists, may do so.
The Korean Baptist Church has been so supportive of our ministry. When we celebrated our 50th anniversary, the Koreans canceled their church service to celebrate with us. Throughout the course of these years, the Korean Baptist Church has supported us financially. They give us beautiful poinsettia plants at Christmas and Easter lily ones at Easter. We are fortunate to have them as neighbors, as together, we share Jesus Christ with our Cook Park neighborhood and beyond.
Certainly we want to be supportive of them and especially celebrating with them as they experience this milestone.
Regardless of whether you are able to be in church on Sunday, please pray for our mutual ministries as we are committed to Christ and his Church. If you are able to worship with us on Sunday, plan on attending the Korean Baptist Church reception thereafter (around 11:30), one that promises to be full of new friends and amazing food!
See you at Cross of Glory for our 10 AM worship service this Sunday!
