Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House Charities is a network of local Chapters that helps millions of families with sick children find comfort and support when they need it the most. Their programs strengthen families during difficult times by providing vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by leading hospitals worldwide with family-centered care.

Our Purpose – Caring for families with children who are ill or injured.

Our Mission – We provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and

promote healing when children need health care.

Our Vision – A world where every family has what they need to ensure the best health outcomes

    for their children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver & Aurora, Colorado

There are over 380 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries, two of which are located in Denver and Aurora, Colorado.                         Their locations are

1300 East 21st Avenue, Denver, Colorado, 80205

932 North Potomac Circle, Aurora, Colorado 80011

At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver, when families have a seriously ill child and need medical care far from home, you can turn to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver and Aurora where you will find a comfortable place to live while in the Denver Metro area. In addition, you will find support, care, understanding and compassion from staff, volunteers and other families staying at the house. There are two requirements that must be met in order for families to stay at RMHC-Denver and Aurora:

*The patient must be aged 21 years old or younger, and

*The family must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from the hospital where the patient

is being treated. There is no cost to them. (In order for Ronald McDonald House Charities to continue to meet the expense of keeping families near the care and resources needed, they encourage – but do not require – guests to donate whatever they are able). Their Houses are places where laughter is shared, friendships are formed, and hope is nurtured.

Canned goods foods make Thanksgiving dinners complete. If you think of any other canned goods, please add it to your list. A huge thank you to all who so graciously place your donations in the Metro Caring boxes in the narthex or in Big Orange Box, BOB, located at Cross of Glory’s front door.
