We know the verses.  WE know that God wants us to share our faith with others.  As early as Genesis 12, Abram was called to “GO.” The last verse of Matthew’s Gospel in the New Testament tells us to “GO,” to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching others to observe God’s good hopes.

And yet, we have trouble telling others about Jesus or about our church.  Why?  Is it… non-Lutheran?  I certainly hope not.  We are after all, the EVANGELICAL Lutheran Church in America.  Do you see the word “angel” in the word, “evangelical?” We are to share the Good News of Jesus and His Salvation as though we sing it with joy like angels!

Join us at 10 AM on Thursday mornings at Cross of Glory for a Discussion/Bible Study on “How to Share our Faith.”  I (Pastor Mike) am leading the class. Together we hopefully will come closer to telling others about Christ in both our words and in our actions. YOU INPUT IS BOTH WELCOMED AND NEEDED!  The good ideas coming out of the class will hopefully inform how we might bring others to Cross of Glory and more importantly, Jesus Himself.

Yes football season is here… but… do not be JUST an armchair quarterback.  ANYONE can tell the rest of us HOW to bring others to Cross of Glory. Be willing to be involved PERSONALLY… beyond your ideas. Your input will be taken more seriously if you move beyond talk and help do. Now is the needed time for us, for YOU, to act!  Join the class and help yourself AND the rest of us BE and SHARE Good News!
